<b>B. Some new contributions of the thesis </b>
Psychoanalytic doctrine was inherently introduced into our country in the early
twentieth century. Due to social-historical conditions, the process of receiving the doctrine
has undergone many vicissitudes and it has actually been widely used since Doi Moi (the
renovation period). Psychoanalysis has become an effective critical method since it goes
into the world of characters with all complexes, hidden memories and unconscious as well
as spiritual life. In particular, as each writer is aware of the expansion of the reflection
reality on the soul reality in the Vietnamese novels in the early decades of the twenty-first
century, the application of the psychoanalysis to bringing works to light is of the essence.
<i>With the topic Vietnamese Novels in the Early Decades of the Twenty-first Century from </i>
<i>the Perspective of Psychoanalysis, the researcher wants to choose a new perspective to </i>
exploit literary, which seems not to be strange at all, with the aim of contributing to
highlighting the achievements of the Vietnamese contemporary novels. The subject of the
thesis is to emphasize on the study of the Vietnamese novels in the early decades of the
twenty-first century with some prominent literary phenomena during this period including
Nguyen Dinh Tu, Ho Anh Thai, Ta Duy Anh, Y Ban, Thuan , Da Ngan, Thuy Anna, Vo
Thi Xuan Ha, etc.
