<b>2. Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn ( The present progressive tense):</b>
- Diễn tả hành động đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói/sắp xảy ra trong tơng lai gần (mang
tính chắc chắn) - Diễn tả kế hoạch , d nh trong tng lai ( gn)
- Các dạng câu:

<b>3.Thì tơng lai đơn ( The simple future tense):</b>
- Dựng để diễn tả một sự việc trong tương lai; một dự định/ quyết định vừa mới nảy
sinh ( tại thời điểm núi).
<i> (+): S will / shall + Vo....</i>
<i>(-) : S + won’t / shan’t + Vo...</i>
<i>( ?) : Will / Shall + S + Vo...?</i>
<i>( *) : Wh + will / shall + S + Vo..?</i>
<b>4. Động từ khuyết thiếu “ Must” (Modal verb “must”):</b>
-“Must” : Nghĩa: “Phải”--> Dạng phủ định : “must not = mustn’t” : “Không đợc
phép”.
-->Must: Dùng để diễn đạt mệnh lệnh( order), nghĩa vụ ( obligation)
--> Mustn’t: Dùng để diễn đạt sự cấm đốn ( khơng được phép).
<i> ( -) : S + mustn’t + Vo ...</i>
<b>5. Cỏch dựng của động từ khuyết thiếu “should”( Nghĩa: “nờn”)</b>
<b>- Dạng phủ định: should not = shouldn’t ( Nghĩa: “khụng nờn”)</b>
--> Dựng để đưa ra lời khuyờn( advices)
<i>(+): S + should + Vo.( Eg/We should behave well)</i>
<i>(-) : S + shouldn’t + Vo .(Eg/ We shouldn’t fight)</i>
<i>(?) : Should + S + Vo...? Yes, S + should/ No, S + shouldn’t.</i>
(Eg/ Should we plant trees? Yes, we should)
<b>6. C¸ch chun danh từ số ít sang số nhiều: </b>
<b>- thêm s vào sau danh tõ sè Ýt.</b>
- Với những danh từ có tận cùng là “y”, trớc “y” là một phụ âm thì khi sang số nhiều
ta đổi “y” thành “i” rồi thờm “es” - (Eg/ a dictionary --> dictionaries.)
- Mét sè danh tõ bÊt quy t¾c:
- a child--> children - a woman--> women
- a man --> men - a person --> people...
<b>7 . Các giới từ chỉ địa điểm , thời gian (Preposition of places / time):</b>
- near, next to, in front of, behind, on , under , in, opposite, to the left of, to the right
<i>of, between... + place.</i>
<i>- on, in , at... + time</i>
<b>8. Cấu trúc : There is/ are....</b>
<i><b>a. Cách nói có một hặc nhiều ngời / vật ở đâu đó:</b></i>
<i>- Có một: There is a/ an + N + giới từ chỉ địa điểm + ... </i>
Eg/ There is a post office in front of my house.
<i>- Có nhiều: There are + Ns/es + giới từ chỉ địa điểm + ... </i>
<i> Eg/ There are hotels opposite his school.</i>
<b>b. Cách hỏi có một/ nhiều ngời hoặc vật ở đâu đó hay khơng?</b>
<i>- Cã mét : Is there a/ an + N ...? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t.</i>
Eg/ Is there a police station near your house? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t.
<i>- Cã nhiÒu: Are there + any +Ns/es...? Yes, there are/ No, there aren’t.</i>
Eg/ Are there any bookstores near your house? Yes, there are/ No, there arent.
<b>9. Cách dùng của tính từ:</b>
<i>a.Đứng sau “to be”: S + be + adj. </i>
Eg/ This supermarket is big./ He is creative.
<i>b. §øng tríc danh tõ:</i>
Eg/ That is a beautiful girl.
<i><b>10. Miêu tả vị trí một/nhiều vật: S + be + giới từ chỉ vị trí + địa điểm so sánh.</b></i>
Eg/ The restaurant is between the drugstore and the toystore.
The movie theater is to the right of the bakery.
The cat is under the pillow.
<b>11. Hỏi đáp về phơng tiện đi lại:</b>
<i>How+ do/does + S + go/travel to school/ work?-> S + go/goes + by + ph¬ng </i>
<i>tiƯn.</i>
<i> travel/travels</i>
<i> -> S + walk/walks( to school/work...)</i>
Eg/ How do you go to school?--> I go by bike. / I go to school on foot.
<b>How does her father travel to HCM city? He travels by plane. </b>
<b>12. Cách dùng động từ “ to be” + tính từ để miêu tả người/ vật:</b>
<i>a. Hình dáng, vẻ bề ngồi của người hoặc vật: S + be + adj.</i>
Eg/ He is tall./ They are very short....
<i>b.Cảm giác , trạng thái: S + be + adj</i>
Eg/ He is quite hungry ./ We are hot and tired....
<b>13. Cách miêu tả khuôn mặt, mái tóc, đơi mắt....với động từ “ have”:</b>
<i>- S + have/ has + (a/an) + adj + N.</i>
Eg/ She has an oval face./ I have long hair.
<b>14. Cách hỏi đáp về ý muốn , ý thích: </b>
<i>- Tức thỡ: What would + S + like? --> S + would like + N / to + Vo.</i>
Eg/ What would you like? I’d like some water./ I’d like to play soccer.
<i> Would you like + N / to + Vo? --> Yes, please; Yes, I’d love to/ No, thanks...</i>
Eg/ Would you like some iced tea?/ Would you like to go to the zoo?
<i>- “Some”: đứng trước danh từ không đếm được và danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều </i>
trong câu khẳng định.
<i>- “Any”: đứng trước danh từ không đếm được và danh từ đếm được ở số nhiều trong </i>
câu phủ định và câu hỏi nghi vấn.

Eg/ +: There is some (meat) in the fridge./ There is an apple on the table.
- : There isn’t any (milk)./ There isn’t a chair here...
? : Is there any ( beef)? Yes, there is/ No, there isn’t.

<b>16. Diễn đạt về sở thích: </b>

<b>17. Nói về mức độ thường xuyên của hành động với các trạng từ chỉ mức độ </b>

- Tính từ ngắn là tính từ chỉ có một âm tiết.
- Tính từ dài là tính từ có hai âm tiết trở lên.
- Các tính từ dài có hai âm tiết mà có tận cùng là “y” cũng có quy tắc so sánh giống
như tính từ ngắn.
