<b>I. Aim and Objectives </b>
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- Recognize and pronounce the letter Cc /si:/ and its sound/c/ correctly.
- Understand, recognize and say the three Ccwords.
- Write the letter Cc.

<b>I. Warm up: ( 5’)</b>

- Point to the cat phonics card and say: /c/
+ Then say: /c/ - cat
+ Put the card up on the board.
+ do action and say: /c/ , cat
+ Follow the same procedure with the words

- Use a card with letter Cc to introduce to the

- Have students look at the book and listen to
the words: a pen, a panda, a parrot
- Have students listen and repeat the words for
several times
- Ask the students to look at the pairs of
pictures on the side.
- Choose the correct one for each corresponding
item in the picture.
- Go around the classroom asking the students
to name the item they are matching.
<b>3. Chant and show! (8’)</b>
Ss repeat both sounds
- Listen, point to and repeat the
words.

- Use the phonics cards on the board and have
students sing the chant with pen. Do the same
with panda and parrot.
- The whole class sings the whole chant.
- Do the chant again using gestures for each
word.

in air with their gingers.
