TECHNIQUES - Communicative approach. - Techniques: Eliciting, explanation, asking – answering, individual work, pair work. III. TEACHING AIDS - Textbook, picture of the body, MP3 IV. PROCEDURES 1. Greeting and checking attendance (1’) 2. Review of the previous lesson No checking 3. New lesson (39’) Teacher’s and Ss’ activities * Warm up : - Playing the guessing game. Class divided into two teams - T shows 8 pictures and gives the rule: “one student chooses a picture and the other in the team asks one or two questions in order to find the picture that his/her friend chose. If he/she gives the right answer, her/his team will get 10 marks. - Ss play the game. - T announces the team that wins. Ss clap their hands to congratulate their friends. - T introduces the lesson. * Presentation: - T shows a picture of the body then has Ss identify parts of the body. -Ss answer. - T introduces new words. - Ss listen and repeat new words then guess the meanings of the words.. - Ss give the meanings of the words. - T corrects. - Ss take notes..
