Presentation: (15’) Activity 1: - Introduce some new words by using pictures I. New words:  pork (n)  peas (n)  carrot (n)  spinach (n)  cucumber (n)  papaya (n)  pine apple (n)  durian (n)  hate (v)  smell (v) -Guide ss to read -Checking vocabulary: “R-O-R” game Activity 2: - Use 3 pictures to set the scene: Hoa and her aunt are at the market - Have Ss look at the pictures and guess the answer: What food did Hoa and her aunt buy yesterday ? 3. Practice: (13’) Activity 1: - Have Ss listen to the dialogue - Have Ss read the dialogue again and answer the question: + What food did Hoa and her aunt buy yesterday?. Students’ activities - Give answers: + Chicken + beef + carrots ………... - Listen, repeat and copy down. - Read aloud - Play game - Pay attention - Look at the pictures and guess the answer. -Listen - Work in group to answer the question + They bought some beef, spinach, cucumbers and oranges.
