I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
+ Introduce some sports.
+ Speak and write some sports they play.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetle
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (8’)
- Hang on some pictures, and ask Ss:
What are they doing?

- Lead to the lesson

2/ Presentation: (10’)
- Use the pictures to elicit some new words.
I. New words:
1. skip (v) nhảy dây
2. jog (v) đi bộthể dục
3. do aerobics (v)tập thể dục nhịp điệu
4. play badminton (v)chơi cầu lơng
5. play table tennis (v)chơi bóng bàn
- Check vocabulary : “Matching”

I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to tell some activities in the
free time.
II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassette
III. PROCEDURES:
TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES
1/ Warm-up: (5’)
Kim’s game

- Give some pictures.
- Ask Ss to write down some activities they see. (no
pictures)

 Introduce the new lesson.
2/ Pre-writing: (15’)
- Have Ss listen and repeat B1.
I. Listen and repeat:
What do you do in your free time?
- Ask Ss to write down the answer.
- Replace “I” by “Phuong, Ly, …”, and ask Ss to make
question and answer.
