I The aims
Teacher gives opinions about the students’ knowledge.
There are some main knowledges you don’t remember clearly such as how to write
sentences using the words given, put the verbs into the correct tense or form.
Many students don’t know how to answer yes-no question.
II-PREPARATION
Teacher comments.
-listening skill is very good. Most of you get good marks.
-reading skill is very good. Many students get the highest points.
-writing skill needs to be improved more and more.
-there are many mistakes when you do language focus test.
III-CONTENT
The test is not difficult, the instruction is clear. We studied from unit 1 to unit 8.
Question I : 2,5 points ( Listening-1,5 point: each correct sentence got 0,5 point. Phonetic
-1 point: each correct sentence got 0,25 poin).
Question II : 2,5 points ( each correct answer got 0,5 point ).
Question III: 2,5 points ( Vocabulary-1point: each correct sentence got 0,25 point. Form
of the verb-1,5 point: each correct sentence got 0,3 point ).
Question IV: 2,5point ( Rewriting-0,5 point: each correct answer got 0,25 point.
Writing-2 points: each correct answer got 0,4 point ).

Read the story below and then answer the questions question ( 2,5 points )
In the summer holidays, Mr Hung, Mrs Chi and their children, Tuan and Hoa often
go to the beach for two or three days. They always go to Vung Tau in the south of
Vietnam. They usually stay in a small house or a flat by the sea, but sometimes they stay
in a hotel.
Last summer, they went to Nha Trang. They stayed at sunshine hotel for three
days. In the morning, Tuan played football with his father on the beach. Hoa and her
mother walked along the beach and built sand castles. They visited Tri Nguyen Aquarium
and saw different kinds of fish there. They also bought a lots of souvenirs for friends.

the simple past tense.
