MY ETHNIC GROUP - KINH
*Topic: Talk about your ethnic group
Good morning teacher. My name is _____ from clas 8A__ og TKH school.
Today, I would like to talk about my ethnic group.
I’m very proud of being a member of my ethnic group. Kinh is the name for
the group.
The Kinh has a population of 86% of 54 peoples in Viet Nam. They live all
over the country from the South to the North.
The Kinh are extremely experienced farmers because they can use modern
tools in making farming products. Their main crops are rice and vegetables. They
raise cattle and poultry for economy. They also make beautiful clothes for sale.
Kinh’s costumes are plentiful with both modern and traditional styles. They
divide them into two kinds: special clothes and normal clothes.
+On special occasions, women often wear Ao Dai, Ao Ba Ba, skirts, dress,
jeans while men often wear shirts, jeans and vestons.
+On normal days, both men and women often wear comfortable clothes so
that they can work effectively.
About religion, the Kinh follow a lot of religions and every religion has their
own way of worshipping.
