Abstract
Lindan, Aldrin, Endrin, Dieldrin, 4,4-DDE, 4,4-DDD, 4,4-DDT (OCPs) and PCBs were determined in three
components of the inter-tidal zone of coastal North Vietnam, include water, sediments and tissues of Clam (Meretrix
lyrata) in March and August, 2012. The results show that the OCPs and PCBs were appearing concurrently in three
those components water, sediments and tissues of Clam. The concentrations of OCPs in three those components was
respectively 19.53 ng/L, 1.19 ng/g, 7.90 ng/g and PCBs was 104.31 ng/L, 2.20 ng/g, 82.11 ng/g. The pollutant
distribution of total OCPs and PCBs in the three environment components of the intertidal zone of coastal North
Viemam was varied by the seasons. The bioaccumulation factor (BAF) of the total OCPs and PCBs for Clam was in the
range from 28.02 to 269.36. The BAF value ofOCPs and PCBs for Clam was respectively 58.07 and 55.20.
