I. AIMS OF THE LESSON:
1. Language skills:
• Reading :
- Develop such reading micro-skills as scanning for specific ideas,
skimming for general information, and guessing meaning in
context.
- Use the information they have read to discuss the topic.
- Read and try to guess the meanings of words and expressions
- Passage comprehension.
- Finding the main content of the lesson.
2. Language focus :
Vocabulary: mutual, incapable of, unselfish, acquaintance,
give-and take loyal to, suspicious
• Grammar :
- The simple present.
- Mutual pronoun “each other”.

1. The first quality for true
friendship is unselfishness. It
