I. Aims and ojectives:
- Language content: To introduce all the words relating to the topics: study habits
- Language function: Guides students to have a sense of school report.
- Education aim: To help students be aware of the important of studying and know
how to find the subject needed to improve
1. Language:
a. Vocabulary: school, report, to be proud of, to be one’s best, Spanish
pronunciation
b. Structures : Reported speech (past simple)
Ex: Minh said: “I’m fine” – Minh said he was fine
2. Skills: Integrated skills: speaking (comprehension)
3. Education factor: Knowing to be aware of the importance of studying and find a
way to improve that such subjects
II. Teacher and preparation:
1.Method : Communication Approach :
2.Techniques: explanation, pair work , group work
3.Materials needed: a report card (phiếu thông báo trong học tập),
text book, topic , cassette
4.Students’ preparation: a report card
5.Previous exercises: exercises 2 (work book)
III. Procedure in class:


1. Stabilization: (3ms) a. Warm-up: Greeting
b. Checking absence: Who’s absent today?
2. Checking up previous knowledges:
*Question: What subjects do you like best? How many subject do you have
*Keys to question : a week ? (I like math best / I have thirteen subjects a week)

II. PRE-PRACTICE:
- Says Now we listen to the
tape and tell me What they
are talking about and plays

- Teaches some new words:

+ be proud of sb (adj)

+ pronunciation (n) (mine).
+ improve (v) (situation).
+ semester (n)= term (n).
+ to try ones best (v)

- Checks understanding:
Rub out and remember.
- Asks the Ss to read the
statements on the sub-board
and predict they are true or
false.
III. WHILE-PRACTICE:
- Asks students to listen
again, then practice with
partner
- Calls some pairs to practice

in font of class
- Corrects their pronunciation
- Says Now you do the
exercise 2 and check their
prediction.
- Asks the Ss to answer true
or false and corrects false
