<b>I. Objectives</b>
- By the end of this unit, pupils can talk about one’s body.
- Pupils can count from 1-10.
- Pupils can review numbers 1-10.
<b>II. Procedures</b>
<b>*Warm up: Review the names of the parts of the body.</b>
<b>A. Presentation</b>
<i><b>1. Teaching vocabulary and structure</b></i>
<b>Step 1: Teacher teaches vocabulary and structure: I’ve got ….</b>
<b>Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words.</b>
<b>Step 3: Pupils copy down into their notebooks and repeat after the teacher. </b>
<b>Step 4: Ask a few pupils to read aloud.</b>
<b>B. Practice</b>
<i><b>2. Listen and say</b></i>
<b>Step 1: Tell pupils to look at the picture on pages 46 and 47.</b>
<b>Step 2: Play CD. Pause after each phrase.</b>
<b>Step 3: Play CD again. Pupils repeat the phrases chorally and individually.</b>
<b>C. Production</b>
<i><b>3. Say and do</b></i>
<b>Step 1: Call a pupil to say I’ve got ….</b>
<b>Step 2: Pupils repeat.</b>
<b>D. Application</b>
- Learn structures and vocabularies by heart.

<b>Lesson 3</b>
<b>I. Objectives</b>
- By the end of this unit, pupils can say, recognize, and write the letter Rr.
- Pupils can recognize and say the sound /r/.
- Pupils can develop fine motor control.
<b>II. Procedures</b>
<b>*Warm up: Review the word a-q.</b>
<i><b>1. Learn the letter</b></i>
<b>Step 1: Say Rr, rabbit and run. Pupils repeat the words.</b>
<b>Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words. </b>
<b>Step 3: Have pupils repeat the letter name and letter sound.</b>
<b>Step 4: Tell pupils to practice.</b>
<b>B. Practice</b>
<i><b>2. Sing</b></i>
<b>Step 1: Play the CD. Tell pupils to listen to the song.</b>
<b>Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line. Sing the line and tell pupils to </b>
repeat after teacher.
<b>Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.</b>
<b>C. Production</b>
<i><b>3. Find</b></i>
<b>Step 3: Tell pupils to find the things beginning with the sounds /ae/ (apples), /m/ </b>
(mangoes), /f/ (figs), /d/ (dates)...
<b>D. Application</b>
- Learn a song by heart.
