Aims : - By the end of the lesson, the students are able to scan reading for specific information. - By the end of the lesson, the students will know more about celebrations in the world. II. Lexical items : - observe - procession - repentance - offering - resolution - haunt IIIStructures - New Year’s Day is observed on the first of January - As preparations, people are busy buying things, preparing traditional food,…. - On New Year’s Eve, people make offerings to their ancestors, ….. WarmGames: listen and draw. up & lead- - divide the class into two teams, A and B. in - Call for two good drawers from the two teams.
