- Play the recording for sts listen and repeat the sentence by
- Divide the class into three groups. One repeats Mai’s part, one

- Check some groups.
- Play the recording again for the whole class to repeat each line
in the speech bubbles to reinforce their pronunciation.
<b>Activity 2: Point and say.</b>
- Tell ss that they are going to practice asking and answering
questions about what activities someone is doing.
- Teach new words:
- Check vocab: slap the board.
- Teach new sentence patterns

- Have ss to repeat the question and answer a few times.
- Call one student to read the word under picture a. Make
question and have one student answer. Have choral repetition.
Then have some pairs to repeat.
- Repeat the procedure with the rest pictures.
- Get ss to work in pairs. Monitor the activity and offer.
- Call on some pairs to perform their tasks. Others give
comments.
- Teacher gives feedback.
<b>Activity 3: Let’s talk</b>
- Tell ss they are going to practice more with their friends.
- Ask the first question and have one student answer. Write
sentence on the board. Get ss repeat the sentences a few times.
Call some pairs to repeat.
- Get ss work in pairs. Monitor the activity and offer help.
- Call some pairs to act out.
- Correct pronunciation.

- Tell ss they are going to read and complete the questions to the
answers. Have ss to read the texts.
- Pre – teach vocabulary.
- Have ss to do the task in pairs.
- Go around and offer help, if necessary.
- Get ss to swap and check their answers before checking as a class.
Write the correct answer on the board for ss to copy down into their
notebooks.
- Call individual ss to ask and answer the question.
<b>Activity 3: Let’s sing</b>
- Tell ss they are going to sing a song “What would you like to be in
the future”.

sing the song all the way through.
- Have ss to do choral and individual repetition of the song line after
line. When they are familiar with the tune, ask a group of three to

- Get ss to swap their writing before inviting some ss to read
