OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to ask & answer about time, main activities of Ba and theirselves: ss review cardinal number II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, cassette player, tape. III. PROCEDURES: Teacher’s activities 1/ Warm up: (5’) - Have ss review cardinal number 2/ Presentation: (15’) Task 1: Introduce the new lesson. -T asks Ss to look at picture on PG 50 and guess what they are talking about. - Present new structure: What time is it? Task 2: -T plays the tape and asks Ss to listen and repeat. - T shows each picture and asks Ss to listen to the tape to know how to tell the time. - Plays the cassette again and asks Ss to repeat. - T corrects their mistakes (if there are any) 3/ Practice: (10’) Task 1: - Have Ss work in pairs by asking and answering about the time of each picture. - Asks them to change the roles. Task 2: - T asks Ss to retell what Ba does every morning In C6 we know exactly what time Ba does every morning. T asks Ss to listen to him/ her. - Ss read silently. - T Introduces preposition “at” before time T help Ss write the answers for the following questions: - What time do you get up?. Students’ activities - Do as t’s guide - Pay attention - Give guess - Write down on notebook - listen and repeat. - Take notes - listen and repeat. - Pair work - change the roles. - Do as T’request. - Take notes.
