OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to get acquainted with “The Media “ and know some new words such as newspapers , magazines , Television , interactive T.V. II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetles III. PROCEDURES: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1/ Warm up : (7’) - Hang the pictures on the board and ask Ss to match the activity with correct picture.. - Lead to the lesson: The Media.. STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES - Look at the picture, and match. I. Getting started: + watching TV + reading newspapers + listening to the radio + reading magazine + using the Internet. - Listen.. 2/ Presentation: (15’) - Use the pictures, real object to explain the meaning of them.. - Let Ss read the new words in chorus and individually. Then copy down * Check vocabulary: R.O.R 3/ Practice: (15’). - Observe, and guess meaning. II. OBJECTIVES: - By the end of the lesson , Ss will be able to express their opinion about something and listen to understand the history of some Medias. II. PREPARATIONS: Textbook, pictures, cassetles III. PROCEDURES: TEACHER’S ACTIVITIES 1/Warm up : (7’) Chatting - Ask Ss to answer the questions: What is your favorite types of Media? Why - Remark and choose the winner. 2/Pre-speaking: (18’) - Present some new words. - Let Ss read the new words in chorus and individually. I. New words:  Violent(n)  documentary (n)  informative (adj)  newscreel (n)  telegraph (n)  journalism (n) - Ask Ss to practice the dialogue. Lien : You don’t like sport, do you? Trung : Yes.
